Privacy Policy

How Flozo handles permissions, transaction information, device data, and your responsibilities when using the app and website.

Last updated: 17 July 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Flozo ("Flozo", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Flozo Android application and this website. By using Flozo, you acknowledge this policy.

Information the app can access

When you grant the relevant Android permissions, Flozo may access transaction-related SMS messages and notification content from compatible apps. That content can include amounts, merchant or payee names, bank or payment service names, partial account references, dates, transaction types, and other details present in an alert.

How information is used

Flozo uses accessible alert content to identify and organize transactions, categorize records, reduce duplicate entries, and show capture confirmations. If you correct a record or mark it as not a transaction, Flozo can create a local source-specific parsing or exclusion rule for future messages. Learned exclusions can be disabled or removed in Settings.

Storage and transmission

Core transaction processing and learned rules are designed to work on your device without requiring internet access. Flozo is not a cloud storage or synchronization service. You can choose to export an encrypted backup to a location you control and restore it later. Unless a feature clearly tells you otherwise and asks for your action, you should not assume that records are uploaded, remotely stored, synchronized, or recoverable by us.

The public website does not ask you to submit financial transaction data. Standard hosting infrastructure may process limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time, and requested pages for security and delivery purposes.

Permissions and control

  • You decide whether to grant SMS access, notification access, notification display permission, and background-related access.
  • You can revoke permissions through Android settings, though related features may stop working.
  • You can remove locally stored app data and learned exclusions using app controls, or remove all app data through Android system settings.

Your responsibility for data

Data accuracy and sensitive information

Automated and learned parsing can be incomplete or incorrect. Always verify important records against your bank, payment provider, or original statement. Avoid entering or storing information in Flozo that is not needed for its intended use.

Children

Flozo is not directed to children under the age required to consent to digital services in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has used Flozo improperly, stop use and remove the app data from the device.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Flozo changes or when legal requirements evolve. The revised date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes should be reviewed before continuing to use the app.

Questions

Use the official support channel shown in the Flozo app or its app-store listing for privacy questions. Do not include financial credentials, one-time passwords, full account numbers, or transaction secrets in a support request.
